He was a machinist and made machine parts for the Soco-Lowell Company in Biddeford Maine, then for Raytheon in Andover Mass. Married to Florence Hodgekiss who died in Nov 9, 1999 at the age of 97. Irving gave all of his sisters his own names, Charlotte, Lillian was Jim-Bob, Prudance was Sammy-Tom-Terror, and Shirley was Jo-Bill.
