Daniel and Darrell are twins. Darrell is 3 minutes younger then Dan, Born March 3, 1956 at Fort Kent Maine. Darrell attended elementary school in Presque Isle Maine and then in Dover-Foxcroft, Maine. He graduated in June of 1974 from Foxcroft Academy. He played Tuba and sang in the choir. He was a member of the Junior Honor Society. He then was employed as a part-time Deputy Sheriff for Piscataquis Sheriff's Office and Milo Police Department while attending and graduating from the University of Maine at Bangor with an Associate of Science Law Enforcement Degree in June of 1976. He also was a summer police officer for Bar Harbor Police Department during the summer of 1975 and 1976. Darrell was hired by the Scarborough, Maine, Police Department in January of 1977. Darrell was employed by Scarborough Police Department until August of 1979, when he left and moved to Florida.
Darrell was employed by the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office on January 14, 1980 where he remained until he retired. He held the rank of Sergeant for Pinellas County, after stints as an undercover narcotics detective and burglary detective. In June of 1993, Darrell completed his bachelors degree in Criminal Justice at Tampa College. After being retired from Pinellas County he moved to Bushnell and began working for the Bushnell police department. He used a cruiser, but when the situation presents he rode one of his horses while on duty. Now in 2017 he works for a long distance trucking company.
Darrell married Marilyn Raisch on November 13, 1999 in Dunedin, Florida. Marilyn has two daughters, Tina (9-24-84) and Tami (2-2-87).
Hobbies: Darrell enjoys motorcycle riding and computers. He owned a 1995 Honda GoldWing motorcycle and loves to travel. Marilyn also loves motorcycles and used to ride her own 1998 Honda GoldWing. They sold the two Honda's and purchased a 2005 Harley-Davidson, but since have sold that. Together they ride horses on their 6.5 acre ranch and go camping.
