Apple Crisp
4 cups - cooking apples (cored and pared) |

1 tablespoon - lemon juice |
|
1/3 cup - all-purpose flour (sifted) |
|
1 cup - oatmeal, uncooked |
|
1/2 cup - brown sugar (packed) |
|
1/2 teaspoon - salt |
|
1 teaspoon - powdered cinnamon |
|
1/3 cup - melted butter |
Pour apples into greased shallow 1 1/2 quart baking dish. Sprinkle with lemon juice.
Combine dry ingredients. Add melted butter. Mix until it as a texture of coarse crumbs. Sprinkle over apples.
Bake at 375º for 1/2 hour, or until apples are done.
