Photos of my trip to Costa Rica February 2018 with Eileen Navarro to get new teeth!

We saw a tree full of toucans eating figs!

We went zip lining!! We had a great time launching into mid air and zooming down.

The trailer they took us up the mountain to zip line.

A typical stop on the side of the road to purchase goods. This one was by the crocodiles in a river.

Crocodiles in their native habitat.

Lots of crocodiles!

Off on a ride to Jaco, a jungle and a beach.

A restaurant where we had lunch, chicken, vegetables, salad, and a drink all for $5.00.

An interesting bird!

The great potoo (Nyctibius grandis) is a near passerine bird, both the largest potoo species and the largest member of the order Caprimulgiformes (nightjars and allies).

They are also one of seven species in one genus, Nyctibius, located in tropical America.

Much like owls, this species is nocturnal. They prey on large insects and small vertebrates, which they capture in sallies from high perches.

Possibly its most well known characteristic is its unique moaning growl that the Great Potoo vocalizes throughout the night, creating an unsettling atmosphere in the Neotropics with its nocturnal sounds

Lots of lizards.

The beach at the park, with the attendant wildlife.

The white-headed capuchin monkey, which has a range from
Honduras to Ecuador, the second smallest Costa Rican monkey.
Adult males average 8 lb and adult females average 6 lb.

A sloth

Back in the area of our hotel, gates and concertina wire everywhere.

I do not think they had heard of a 100 pair of wires in one cable.

Taxi's in downtown San Jose.

The white-nosed coati (Nasua narica), also known as the coatimundi (/koʊˌɑːtɪˈmʌndi/),
is a species of coati and a member of the family Procyonidae (raccoons and their relatives).
Local Spanish names for the species include pizote, antoon, and tejón, depending upon the region.

We swam in the warm water coming off of the volcano!
