Cannery Pie (Apple Pie)
Mix the following well:
1 1/2 cup - sugar |

1 cup - flour |
|
2 teaspoons - baking powder |
|
1/2 teaspoon - salt |
|
2 eggs |
|
1/2 teaspoon almond extract |
|
1/2 teaspoon vanilla |
Add:
2 cups - diced apples |
|
3/4 cup - chopped walnuts |
Place in deep dish pie plate (buttered well).
Bake at 375 degrees about 45 minutes. Serve hot with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
