Josiah Locke, born in Falmouth, Me., May 21, 1757, married 1779, Elizabeth Gilpatrick of Falmouth, who died Sept. 21, 1839. He was a farmer in Falmouth, helped on fort there 1775, and was in expedition to Penobscot 1779 and was corporal in Capt. Cobb's Co., 1779. He died Falmouth Apl. 12, 1841.
